Like crop tops, cutouts are all over the red carpet these days, but the racy peekaboo thing isn't always the easiest to pull off. But then Rachel McAdams hit the Hollywood premiere of To the Wonder last night looking gorgeous in a black cutout dress with lace overlay—giving some major inspiration on how to wear the look.
I get it—sometimes cutouts can seem a little too revealing, especially for a special occasion. So temper the sexy with lace embroidery, especially on long sleeves, a modest high neckline, and/or midi-length hemline. The result: an elegant, refined, and just flirtatious enough feel—like Rachel's.
