Hey Taylor Swift fans – don’t forget to tune in tonight for The New Girl season finale! Taylor guest stars on Tuesday’s (May 14) episode titled, ‘Elaine’s Big Day.’ It sounds like the ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer was a big hit with the cast and crew.
“She’s awesome,” the show’s star Zooey Deschanel told Us Weekly. “She’s super-funny and really smart. Very professional and we loved working with her.”
Zooey’s costar Max Greenfield even hinted that we might get to hear Taylor sing in this episode. “One word: Magic,” he said, describing his guest star and then added, “I was like, ‘Just sing it, Taylor. Just sing it for everyone here. Sing it for the crew, do the foot stomp with it. And just let it go.’”
“I could see that she wanted to but then she felt like, ‘Am I gonna do that?’” he said. “But I don’t think she realized how much we all wanted to hear her. I love that song, I’m telling you she was magic on the set, magic. Felt like we had a really good thing going, me and her.”
The Season Two finale of New Girl airs Tuesday, May 14 on Fox at 9 p.m. EST.
