Taylor Swift: Coming to Zooey Deschanel's "New Girl" May 2nd 2013, 21:00 She’s always had a flair for the dramatic, and Taylor Swift will show off her acting chops on the May 14th episode of “New Girl.” The “Should’ve Said No” songstress will play Elaine, who becomes friends with Zooey Deschanel's character Jess, and it sounds like it’s going to be quite the cute cameo. Creator Liz Meriwether told press that T.Swizzle ‘nailed’ the gig and even “did a little bit of a riff on one of her songs.”
